What is Fast Lane?
Fast Lane represents our groundbreaking 7-day made-to-order collection, embodying a unique concept in the realm of custom footwear. This ambitious line allows for selected styles to be produced within just 7 business days, compared to the standard 20-30 business days typically required for our handcrafted designs. Customers can customize their shoes (with limited options), but it is important to note that size availability is limited to a first-come, first-served basis, which may result in certain sizes selling out quickly during the ordering process. This initiative caters to those seeking prompt delivery without compromising on style, ideal for fashion-conscious individuals.

The Fine Print:

  • SUBJECT TO SIZE AVAILABILITY
  • Fast Lane shoe production timelines and shipping may vary from 7 to 10 days from the date of order.
  • All shoes are handmade, and minor inconsistencies or imperfections are natural and add to the authenticity of the product.
  • Color differentiation may occur, and the product color displayed on screen cannot be guaranteed to match exactly due to variations in display settings across different devices.
  • In most cases, any color difference between the online images and the received product is minimal and nearly imperceptible.

Comparing Shoes

When comparing two different shoes you should know that, despite their external differences, the inner shape is the key element when it comes to fitting.

See below a comparison between two Wholecut shoes as an example, both with the same size (42 EU).

The one on the left is made using the Zurigo Last (rounded toe) and the other one uses the Monti Last (long chisel toe).

foot measurement

As you can see, the long and narrow toe shape of the Monti last generates a larger blind / unused space at the toe. How much space you have in front of the toe varies depending on the type of shoe and its toe shape.

That is why, even though the shoe on the right is 1 cm longer (total length measured from the heel to the tip of the toe) both shoes are effectively the same size.

Admittedly, there's no point in comparing the fitting of two different shoes only based on their total length.
