Introducing Burnishing 2.0

Introducing Burnishing 2.0

We are pleased to introduce the latest advancement in our finishing techniques and specialties: the new and improved Burnishing 2.0. Our initial burnishing feature, launched a few years ago, primarily enhanced the toe and back areas of shoes, particularly in styles like patina Chelsea boots.

The introduction of Burnishing 2.0 revolutionizes this technique, elevating it to a new level of sophistication that befits luxury bespoke shoes for men.

Each shoe is individually burnished, highlighting every single sewing line. The result is simply breathtaking, as the new antiqued effect transforms the shoe's appearance. Witnessing this exquisite process unfold at our patina workshop truly underscores the artistic excellence synonymous with the Burnishing 2.0 method.

This process requires minimal equipment—just a burnishing mop and a specialized burnishing wax—relying instead on the expert skill and touch of our artisans to achieve the finest finish possible.

With keen attention and craftsmanship, our master colorist transforms a simple calf leather shoe into an artistic masterpiece, offering an endless range of shade variations. This sophisticated technique is suitable exclusively for Box Calf and Painted Calf materials and can be adjusted in two levels of intensity, depending on the client's preference for the effect.
