The Craft:
Artisan-Hand Made Patina: The exquisite patina applied to each Fernando Double Monk embodies the 'Anticatura' technique—an Italian term referring to the art of antique finishing. This meticulous process is a hallmark of distinguished Italian and French shoemakers. The hands of an experienced artisan transform the upper part of the shoe into a unique masterpiece through this method, which involves a labor-intensive hand dyeing procedure. Creating a distinctive patina characterized by an aged effect requires approximately 8-10 hours of dedicated craftsmanship per pair.
The Fine Print:
The timeline for shoe production and shipping may vary, typically ranging from 20 to 30 days from the date of order placement. All shoes are handcrafted, and slight variations or imperfections are a natural part of the artisanal process. Please be aware that color differentiation may occur; the appearance of product colors on screens cannot be guaranteed to be accurate, as they may appear differently from one screen to another. In most instances, any color discrepancies between the images and the actual product upon delivery are minimal and barely noticeable.

When comparing two different shoes you should know that, despite their external differences, the inner shape is the key element when it comes to fitting.
See below a comparison between two Wholecut shoes as an example, both with the same size (42 EU).
The one on the left is made using the Zurigo Last (rounded toe) and the other one uses the Monti Last (long chisel toe).
As you can see, the long and narrow toe shape of the Monti last generates a larger blind / unused space at the toe. How much space you have in front of the toe varies depending on the type of shoe and its toe shape.
That is why, even though the shoe on the right is 1 cm longer (total length measured from the heel to the tip of the toe) both shoes are effectively the same size.
Admittedly, there's no point in comparing the fitting of two different shoes only based on their total length.
