The Welt of a Men’s Dress Shoe: An Introduction

The welt in luxurious bespoke shoes for men represents a leather strip encompassing the outsole's perimeter. Its primary function is to securely attach the upper to the outsole, thereby offering enhanced durability.

Introducing Configurable Welt Styles

Previously, the welt was a standardized, non-configurable component across all our men's dress footwear collections. Moving forward, customers can now customize their preferences by choosing from three distinct welt styles: Dress (standard), Country, and City. Moreover, the color of both the welt and the outsole can be personalized, allowing for an expanded array of customization options.

Explore New Welt Styles: Country and City

Beyond the standard, now named Dress Welt, customers can design men's dress shoes with two additional welt styles: Country Welt and City Welt. Observe their distinctions in the images below:

Utilizing the Ultimate Bespoke 3D Tool for Welt Configuration (Ultimate Bespoke 3D)

Upon selecting a Sole Unit via the right-bottom widget, the Welt Selection Widget emerges. Only available welt styles compatible with the chosen sole unit are displayed for selection, streamlining the customization process.
